Hi there! I’m Sarah (@hairbysarahpdx), a Portland hairstylist with over 20 years of experience specializing in haircutting and lived-in color.
As a native Oregonian, I grew up on the Oregon Coast before making Portland my home. I’m passionate about education and have trained with the Vidal Sassoon Academy, as well as industry leaders and many talented independent artists. I believe it’s important that your look complements you and your lifestyle, and most importantly, I believe in prioritizing the health of your hair. My goal is to keep you loving your hair through each stage of grow-out—even if that means you only come in once a year!
Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me spoiling my cats, cooking, reading, catching up on a little trash TV, trying a new restaurant, or spending time with family and friends. Whenever I get the chance to escape the city, I love exploring Hood River, Bend, and the Oregon Coast.
